Shield K1 Software upgrade 5.1?

I just turned on my k1 sheild to do a little flying in my backyard and I got a prompt to upgrade 5.1 software. Any else got this from their sheild tablet? It's still downloading on mine as I'm typing this.

Could this possibly fix the crashes we're experiencing? I'm hoping.

I hope it does not install Android 7.0.

Mine has the 7.0 already, but this is just another update that popped up yesterday. It also says it's for Additional system stability improvements, maybe that'll fix the crashes I'm hoping.

My K1, that I had for 1 week is after the update to 7 send back to the webshop. Today a got my new K1 with 6.0.
Keep us up to date.......maybe this update is the 7.0 fix.
