short Cable for iPad mini

I came across this at Brookstone in the mall here in Arizona. There clearance down for 10 bucks right now. I guess the dreaded mall trip was not a waste

What is the length of this cable? I ordered one that looks very similar to the one shown. It is 6" and is not quite long enough. 8" would be perfect. I can make it work if I slide the mini iPad a bit over. I did remove it from the plastic holder.

Which cable do you have? The Kanex cable is very similar to the above cable. It's advertised as a 6" cable, but mine measured 8" after I removed it from the holder.

I was going to buy the Kanex off Amazon but could not bring my self to do it for 20+ bucks...

So when i saw it for 10... impulse buy!

I had already order the 12" off AliExpress for $6...
