Tasmania has strict rules about drones in National Parks (there's a big sign at Cradle Mountain to remind us), but there are plenty of incredible spots outside them.

Yep, our rules suck and make no sense - you can do acrobatics over central Hobart in a 70 year old "classic war bird" that probably weighs a few tonne, but you can't launch a 500g drone from within an unpopulated Park. You can fly over it though ... if you launch from outside it's border! I was wondering ... if I hand lanched and caught - without the drone touching the hallowed ground upon which I stand .... lol.
I'm rafting the Franklin River in February, would love to take my Mavic Air :/
