Signal blocker?

Mavic Pro with galaxy s10. Clear weather. Flying over a school with town and school board approval. Flying fine with GPS then suddenly the screen freezes with the message being "remote control disconnect" but I still had control of the drone. I was within L.O.S so I was able to bring it back to land but very strange suddenly losing complete screen footage with that message. Happen often?

I havent had that in almost a year but for me it was a cheap cable between the RC and Phone.

Thank you! I did get the cable from Amazon but I've never had a problem the previous 6 hours of flight... need to replace that one I guess

Also check ports for crud in the - dust can cause poor connections between contacts

Good point... I guess over time anything can go

It's a subtle difference but the app does present a different message when the app can't communicate with the RC, vs communication loss between RC and AC.
Also with latter, the RC will display "connecting..." but will show normal telemetry in the former.

Yeah it was interesting having that message but still able to control the drone.

It was more subtle with P3 and it's app Go 3.
