Personally I wouldn't bother with it as your VLOS would prevent you from being able to see the Mini long before you started to loose signal in most scenarios. If you were to loose signal, as long as you set up your RTH parameters beforehand, the Mini would return home and land. If that happened, then I would consider this product. Also, if you purchased the Fly more combo, it probably won't fit in the case.

Realistically most people don’t spend even $400-$500 to only fly VLOS. If so you couldn’t fly much more than what, 100m? RTH allows much greater capability.
