Living in Canada with some long 'white' winters, a beige drone just doesn't work. Have no interest in adding strobes. I normally fly LOS but even still, a few hundred feet out against the snow or white, cloudy sky, I can't find it and have to rely on my map and orientation.

But I did finally make a decision to skin it. I had 9 skins in my basket....whittled it down to orange as a predominant color.

Do not expect the colour will matter all that much when beyond several hundred feet. One feature I did appreciate about my previous noisy Mavic Air is that I would more often hear it before I saw it....LOL

I have two M1P's. They are both skinned. Though we dont have snow topped mountains here in the Houston Texas area the skins do add to LOS visibility. Got them on Amazon

I couldn’t find any colors that I really liked so I bought some scans it closely matched what I wanted and then spray painted my own color it worked fine and only needed one coat

If by chance you wish to remove the skin would it leave any residue adhesive and how wud anyone recommend removing it ??

It doesn’t really leave any residue it might along the edges and hand sanitizer would remove it

DJI recommends you do not use anything with alcohol in it.

Got orange skin from DecalGirl.com and it really improved the drone visibility against snow and trees (green pines and brown hardwoods that surround my property. Sorry, did not get pic in sky, but you can see how it contrasts.

This was one of the orange skins which was in my basket until I made my final choice. Hoping that the orange will allow me to see it against the clouds. I can almost always hear it but can't spot it. Skin should arrive this week.

Great product from Decal Girl......actually the skin was purchased from iStyles which was actually less than ordering direct from Decalgirl. Used some skin material to cover the landing extensions from PGYTEK. Will fly to-day and hope for better visibility.
