Not to be off topic, but may I ask what is the best color to NOT be seen in the sky from the ground?

Black as it only takes a few seconds for you to look like a black bird in the sky.
Of course you would want to turn off the lights if possible.

A good set of strobes, will probably double the distance from you the drone is still visible, and you can tell the way it is turned by the different colors you see. If by chance an aircraft was flying at your drone, they can see it easier with strobes as well. That said, I wouldn't mind a skin to stick on mine, of a cool looking motorbike.
