Small vs large crystal sky? 5.5 vs 7.8?

I didn't like the way it clamped to the remote. I got a Mavmount instead. So far I like that one

I agree it's a tight fit, once you find the sweet spot it goes off & on OK, price point is good.

Looks like an excellent monitor. Ordered the DJI Mount and 5.5” CrystalSky Monitor. Now can’t wait. Found a dealer who said he has the mount in stock. Generally backordered by most dealers. Oh well had to wait 4 months for Mavic. Monitor in stock, just worried about the DJI Mount.

Using the mount for the CrystalSky mounting to the Mavic RC, what is the extra cable for shown on the mount? If you are no longer using a phone to connect to the internet to get mapping, are you still getting ap updates and NFZ warnings thru the CrystalSky?
