Smart Controller for Mavic Mini?

Hi!
I would like to give my Mavic Pro 2 to a friend, but want to keep my Smart Controller for my future Mini II.
Q1: Can I adapt the Smart Controller for the Mavic Mini II?
Q2: Can my friend use the Mavic Mini´s Controller for his Mavic Pro ?

Not today. But, DJI is saying it will be possible in the future.
