smart Controller screen is very hot to touch

Im flying my Air 2 in 75-80 degree temps. Screen is very hot to touch. Any suggestions?

If your USB setting on phone is set to charge in settings, set it to use for file transfer.

Smart controller, so no phone

Either use a sunshade, or just leave it be. Whole point of that screen is powerful backlight, so it'll of course heat up accordingly.

Do you hear the fan running while using the remote? It will still get pretty warm but it helps with the cooling. If the fan has quit I think you will notice quite a bit more heat. If its working, just assume all is well if its continuing to work.

No setting to turn it on and off. It blows out the top of the sc. You can feel the air coming out more than you can hear the fan. It is really quiet. I also don't think it comes on until it gets hot.

My fan turns on with the controller and when its quiet you can hear it running.
