Hey everyone...thanks in advance for your thoughts / advice!

Was inspecting my roof, wanted to get a closer look (lower than minimum height flight) so I landed it on the roof. Good smooth landing, did not skedaddle or anything.

But now (because it's on a standard roof with an angle)...I'm getting a 30087 error code. Which will not allow me to take off! I did a chat room help session with DJI...who confirmed no over ride function, code, or other way to make it take off.

Any ideas? Any tricks to make it take off? I figure once it gets to 1.2 ft above the roof, it will settle into level flight and hover (just like it does when taking off from the ground). But I'm getting the feeling...not so much.

Thoughts?

Not an emergency ask...was able to retrieve it off the roof. But I think still a valid question...if you're not able to land on a flat surface.

Maybe a secondary question...what is the angle limitations for said "flat" surface? +/- 5 degrees? 10? 2?

Anyone know?

Thanks!

Why not get some cardboard or plywood or something similar and test it out on the ground and let us all know as well as which drone you are asking about?
