I think everybody who overpaid for one of these super Autel drones got a Hoodman landing pad gift; mine still in the wrap because it's too nice to lay out on the ground.

I got a landing pad after I tried to land in some short grass. It wasn't short enough, and the grass contained weeds and things with thick roots. Had to replace a couple props. So yeah, landing pads are good.
