Hand catching should be a must for everyone if possible. Why chance a rough ground landing with a $1000 drone?!

I have been hand catching mine even with VPS on. Just bring it into a hover and trap right behind the nose of the craft.

Because a $2500 Nord and some guitars would get pretty lonely in the absence of an irreplaceable set of hands.

Yup, but I was referring to the Mavic cutting off his hands. Lol.

Heh...absence meant something closer to "while bandaged" than "removed completely." Catching this little thing doesn't look like too big a deal–I'm sure many will–but as far as my own personal priorities go, the $1k drone isn't nearly high enough on the list to constitute a worthwhile chance. I'll gladly throw down for some extra props instead.

Is anyone concerned about the reflective material?.... is it actually metallic?... if so it may give you compass issues... although I would think this would have been mentioned already if people were having issues...
