sUAS Level I Thermography Certification

I am considering taking this course at my expense. I would like to know if others in the forum feel that this is a worth while certification in your respective industry.

Currently I work in a small technology contractor company and am the only FAA 107 pilot. We might be adding building envelope assessments to our offerings and I would think it might also be valuable in DSAR work.

First let me preface by saying I have not taken the course...

I'm not sure how it would help in DSAR because in SAR we aren't really looking for any measurable data. We have no "controls" and work in a constantly changing environment. From a Thermal standpoint we are simply looking for "Hot Spots" or technically areas with a HIGH DELTA.

It's an indepth and not cheap class but if you think you can incorporate it into your business (and possibly let them pay for it) then I say GO FOR IT!!
