Sunset After Rain Storm Tonight...

The first parts is about 10 seconds of 4k 30fps sped up.. then the middle is an 8k hyperlapse with the end coming down being another 4k 30fps sped up....

Turned out well, but I really dislike how I lost so much viewable area in the hyperlapse... if i didnt have to deal with 30-40 gig's files i would always just shoot them in 4k 30fps and sped them up...

Same video just separate providers because of the you tube loss.

Thoughts?

I cannot tell you how many times I watched this .

You can play them both almost at the exact same time and I see no difference in the youtube / vimeo in quality .
As far as the 8k I cannot see that quality coming thu on the TV or the computer screen. So 4K 30 fps seem sped up is pretty darn nice.
The only thing I might do different is to slow down the action as its moving at a nice pace allowing for the eyes to gain focus and speed up the slow parts only to match the speed maybe making it more seamless.

This is awesome , I live in a no cloud zone.

Yah, its hit or miss sometimes if I see differences with youtube vs vimeo not so much with these where its sky shots to be honest.

I am really not happy with that hyperlappse in 8k to be honest it doesnt pop and its not framed 100% how i realized i wanted it.. Really more reasons why iv started to move to shooting in 4k video and just speeding up... i do like the look though of those hyperlapses withthe gabs in time... with clouds still so not a win either way lol.

As far as slowing it up its a interesting parameter timing the plane's in these and i just went with one edit lol. Out of curiosity did you notice them at all (beginning one)? It is what i was timing too.. my wife watched on her phone and was like what planes lol

And clouds! My FAVORITE THING HERE lol, no mountains but we got green and clouds.

Oh yeah I noticed the planes on the wide screen and the 180 inch looks amazing but the 8K is not exciting , no pop , do you think its the Crop that making it not pop ?
I have mentioned this before that I can see a huge difference between 1080- and 2K but no difference between 2k and 4K and now 8K I thought i would see a difference on the TV but no , not seeing it.
8K may just be some camera tricks maybe , we need someone with some real 8K to let us in on the grail. lol

Might be lighting or processing.. out of curiosity here is the raw off the drone.. See any difference on your big screen?

In the other video I adjusted the contrast down -7 and then rendered with the rest of the video.
