This is a video from footage we shot last week.

We FINALLY hit 1000 subs last week after slowly plugging away for the past few years.

It’s helped me create great relationships with the surfers out there and has led to me getting more waves too

It has been fun having my footage live somewhere else than my hard drives and being enjoyed by others around the world.

I’m in this video a few times- I’m on the grey longboard wearing a hat please excuse my kookiness

I see what you are referring to ( good eye)....and it is gone in just a few seconds......any chance it is a kite surfer out there?

That's a good one - hadn't thought of that. I might have thought heli given the distance from shore, but he could be bas3d from a boat.

Sorry for the very late reply. That was a parasailing tour and that's a customer tied onto a boat.

I appreciate that. I feel the same way (and not just because I am a long boarder), There is something different about the way a surfer has to move through the wave on a longboard that feels like a dance with the ocean as opposed to trying to dominate it with power and speed on a shortboard.

There are many places in the video where you did. Although I did start to make a list and after a couple minutes I stopped because they were adding up and I got tired of it. You do know that if the motors on the drone stop instantly that doesn't mean the drone is going to fall straight down, right? Anyway, in my opinion this is a dangerous flight.

My one concern would be that older drones are known to go haywire and initiate landings when flying too low over oceans, lakes, etc. Even still, I believe he showed good control of his drone and got some great footage.
