Tablets no longer supported in the US?

Hi All.....This a very interesting Thread Ref: Apple Ipads and Samsung Tablets. My DJI Mini 4 Pro Video Files are pretty huge given a 5-min flight. When I take the 64Gps Micro out of the Mini 4 Pro, and put it into a SD Card for the Chromebook It won't play the Video and says some Crap about a .MP4 file. I think the problem is with the Adapter not being up to date on USB 3.0. I Ordered another one that I think is a better device. I hope it fixes the Video Issue. And.....just FYI.. I use a Apple Ipad 10 inch with the Controller a 5th Generation device for my Mini2....Air 2 S and the Mini 4 Pro.
VLC the Video Player does not play the .MP4 File either using that same SD Card Reader. However....when I plug that SD Card Reader into my Wife's Apple MacBook Air....it works wonderful, the Mini 4 Pro .MP4 Quality is very clear and crisp just very impressive.

I've been flying with android tablets since 2018. So I'm thinking of buying a new tablet since my current tablet can't play the 4k video my mavic 3 pro creates.
So I sent DJI an email asking which Android tablets they approve of. This is their reply:

Regarding your inquiry, we recommend that you use a compatible mobile phone to use the DJI Fly App, as for the tablet, DJI Fly is now can only be used on iPads now, so we are sorry that we cannot recommend any Samsung tablets, the DJI Fly app is available on the following iPad models:
iPad Pro (9.7-inch), iPad Air 2 (9.7-inch), iPad mini 4 (8-inch), iPad Pro (10.5-inch), iPad Pro 2018 (11-inch), and iPad Pro (12.9-inch).

To me this is total BS. My current Samsung tablet, an A9+ 5g, works fine with fly. It just won't play the 4k. Every day, I get a lower opinion of DJI! I hate flying with small phones, or their crappy smart remotes.
Hi Jwilson I also have a Samsung Tablet A9+ with 128G . I have not flown my Mini 4 Pro using the Table A9+ so I have no Idea if it would have the same problem that you mention with playing those .MP4 formats. I have only owned the Tablet A9+ for about 2 weeks, I very much dislike how the OS works,,, its not intuitive at all on where to find files on the **** thing. I won't fly with it unless my Ipad craps out.

If you want anyone to be able to help, you'll need to explain exactly what that message says.
Woops !! sorry....I wanted to just "Add" a single line comment about the Fact that my Google Chromebook will not Play my DJI Mini-4 Pro Videos even though Google Chromebook states that it will Play .MP4 Files. I was using VLC an Open Source Codec Player. I will try using a Different Micro SD Card Reader that supports USB 3.0.

You could check your video settings and try using H264 rather than H265 and see if that makes a difference.

The Go App is designed for 32 bit operating systems. It just won't load onto a 64 bit platform. And the Fly app won't properly load onto a 32 bit system. People having trouble loading these apps should be aware of their hardware. People having trouble playing their mp4 files on some devices might be recording in h.265 format. It's still an mp4 file but it requires a different codec to play it on most devices.

My tablets are still flying with DJI Fly along with all the other apps that have been available for the past 100 years and I don't for see going out of business any time soon. Eagle View Aerials Android tablets 2200-2600 nit. The only app that I have found that doesn't work on my tablets is Bees360 and that's only because it won't operate on Android 13. I've had to back a couple tablets to Android 11 for buyers who used Bees360. My V71 Pro is one of the best tablets available on the market.
