The President came to Springerville, a little town in NE AZ, during the Rodeo Chedesky Fire... about a half million acres burned and entire cities were evacuated. I was working in the emergency room and coordinated with his security to set up what they needed for his security. We had a no fly zone which meant the only functioning airport for 150 miles was essentially closed. Craziness ensued before his visit was over when an airevac was needed.

Ah, seems like NV gets visits quite a bit. We were out in Black Rock, and saw AF1 fly overhead- lots of escorts too.
