There is a RC flight club there and has been since the 80's. Hence my thoughts of flying there.
Fairoaks are aware of the "zone".

At the moment at the park at the end of the road in kinson due to the roughy weather at the moment ,but have flown over the purbecks a few times ,and you have you found any good places there is a guy up & Adam who fly's in new forest

Take a look at Bourne Wood - great site where many films are shot, lots of space for practice

Expectant pilot from Brighton (Hove, actually) here. Have been flying a Syma X5sc for some time now, with the occasional Phantom flight. Looking forward to getting my Mavic this week.
