The Badlands - Nov. 2017

Here's a video I put together from my recent overnight trip to a rugged and mysterious desert area known as the badlands, somewhere east of San Diego:

I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions for improvement!

Gorgeous. Put a red filter on it and you could convince me it's the surface of Mars.

I've spent a lot of time in the Anza-Borrego, and also Salton Sea, Idylwyld too. It's a stunning landscape, and much nicer to shoot in the winter so that you don't have to endure 100ºF+ daytime temperatures.

Nice shots. My only suggestion is to try to shoot at golden hour -- that light adds a lot of drama to that landscape.

I liked the lighting and all of the textures of the landscape.
Hard to believe Pleasant San Diego is not that far away!
