To the many forum members who gave such valuable and well thought-out advice in my previous post titled
"My Innapropriate plan for short tunnel exploration??", can you all suppress your LOL's please?
So many plans and preparations to fly my drone up a tunnel for photographic analysis, with new tools, equipment and techniques.
Then and only then, do I ask permission, of the owner of the access, to let me cross his land again to enter the tunnel for a second time!!!
I had taken it for granted that this would be the easiest part of the whole project.
I was unaware of idiots who have been pestering the area with unauthorised flights at high speeds, low altitude and close enough to people to have raised complaints in local newspapers. One had flown his uninsured drone onto the access owners lot and hit two Lotus that he was readying for collection by their owners.
I won't go on, but just recommend to the forum that, perhaps, all other consideration should be subordinated to FIXING ACCESS before any other preparation.
I still gained much help on the forum and just wanted to record my appreciation.
