Many opinions, but there are a lot of people opining the same thing. Like I said, conventional wisdom.

I will say that, when you are swapping your SD card between devices, say other cameras or different operating systems, reformatting makes sense then because you are subjecting the card to different operating systems and environments.

I have found a very creative use for that little port hidden behind door #1:
I created a mount point for top and bottom anti-collision strobes on my Mavic Air.

I am curious to find out more about this. I wonder if you can pull the power from the USB-C outlet without affecting the drone. It seems like the strobes do not use much power anyways...
