titan mod amped?

Works great, also recommend the car kit. Works in car or house.IMG_20180324_080455245.jpeg

The Titan switch system works GREAT for me. I also have mine on a tripod, the only thing in my hand is the RC.

Yep I have it on my m2 pro, in ce mode in uk stock antenna got about 1-1.3 kilometres. Did a 10 kilometres flight at the weekend and still had four bars video and rc at 5 kilometres distant. Made a big difference for me

Are most of you doing your own MOD? I saw a couple of YT videos showing the process. Taking apart my controller looks a little above my pay grade. Will Titan do it? If so, does anyone know the turn around time and cost?

James at Titan does the mod, as well as Thunderdrones who is constantly on the Mavic forums. I do my own but have enough skill and tools to do it. It's not something for a first time project though. You can see a number of videos on YouTube that show the process though in case you're adventurous enough to give it a shot.

I did my own, you only need a few tools, small posidrive driver, a T6 torx bit , and a pair of tweezers, maybe long nosed pliers.

It is quite straight forward to do your own mod, however, one mistake or one slip could render your controller unusable. If you do it yourself, do it carefully and slowly, take your time and watch video tutorial first.

Not sure on turnaround time for the UK, maybe @Thunderdrones can quote you on time and price.

Best of luck.

The Mavic 2 RC is easier to do than the Mavic pro, the Mavic 2 RC comes apart a lot easier.
Yes Titan will mod it for $99.00 and turn around time is a day or two.

Thanks for the help. I'm leaning that way and will most likely do (or have it done) in the near future. I've already spent on accessories for my MP2 than the dame thing cost! :-)

Just remember if you get the Titan switch system and use it on the Mavic 2, when using the amp make sure you switch your broadcast frequency from duel to 2.4 GHz in your Go4 app or Litchi app.
If you use the Omni antennas without the amp you can let it duel frequency, but if you use the Omni antennas with the amp change to 2.4 Ghz.

I believe the left hand circular polarized +9db panel that comes with it also only operates on 2.4 ghz.
