To anyone who can help l was using the mavic pro 1 trying out the new quick shots particularly the dronie. So l select myself press go countdown starts, drone starts to move back. Problem is it dosnt seem to be gaining altitude so l press stop to avoid hitting the trees. Can anyone help

That's exactly what it's supposed to do (fly backwards for a while, THEN up), so go in a place without trees behind...

you also have to set the distance that you want the mav to go from the start point it will then stop and return back to that point and hover till you give it further instructions
