Unfortunately shows the limitations (STILL) of DJIs AEB. It still only allows 0.67 stops between shots and has done for years. Quite simply, for high DR scenes such as this, 0.67 stops is not enough (See the ugly sun). Ultimately you're going to need to manually bracket in these situations.

The sun has a fairly ugly orange halo due to a lack of dynamic range. Its a big problem with the in-built AEB sadly.
