Hi all,
First post to the site but been lurking here for a few months and finally picked up a Mavic Pro in December.
I’d been looking for flyaway cover in the U.K. and saw others were struggling to find somewhere covering this. I came across ‘Country Cover Club’ which offers this as well as theft/public liability etc. It’s basically a specialist insurer for outdoor activities. So yea, thought it may be of interest to some:
From their site:
Can’t pay direct debit though, but thought the cover for £750 worth would do the drone incase of flyaway/damage as you’d still have the rest of the gear. My insurer (Churchill) exclude drones altogether, even as part of my contents insurance which I find a bit bizarre seen as in the house in storage a drone is like any other insured object...?
Cheers.
