I am thinking of picking up one of those UAV/OFFICIAL Wind breakers that are for sale
Approximately $22...i would think that WEARING one would possibly deter [Language removed by Moderator] innocent bystanders who have a beef with disrespecting THEIR property !!
Thinking back to the night last week where i was in a extremely stressful situation with a local Bozo with too much time on his hands ready to fight over my invasion of his property
I joke around but i can see how they feel a bit..THEY don't know that we (i) don't have any ill intent !
I wonder if the suit..an OFFICIAL looking vest ..LICENSED Commercial Drone Pilot
Do you think that having one of these vests on it would cut down on confrontations with the public ?
I believe that it WOULD help
I have never had ONE incident flying in my area...i usually fly in a huge park adjacent to my home
Most of the time people approach ME and ask questions about how they work...how much they cost etc.
I had one guy come to me and asked me about the price...when i told him he almost fell over
Maybe because where i fly in NYC people are physically up against one another most of the time and SHARING the space is more common
I haven't flown today yet but i am sure that my local flying area will be packed with hundreds of people and the space is shared because of the HUGE but limited space for all
all i know is that i will THINK TWICE when out of town when i fly
I will be going to PARADOX LAKE in The Adirondack Mountains of NY for a week...i just left a message to ask the owner of the place we will be at re the local feeling about Drones...the place is adjacent to the lake..a HUGE Lake and i want to fly along it and above it as much as possible
