unable to use GSP without logging in

When was away from home and was not on the internet, I found myself locked out of GSP because it demanded logging in. In those circumstances I couldn't log in and the app was useless.

Any workaround for this?

Just log in before you leave home (or any place you have Internet access).
That'll do it.
