DJI have updated the manual again. Still on version 1.0 but now dated 10th December 2025. Looks like they’ve changed the section on RID to let you know how to enter your operator registration number. There may be other changes but that was what I noticed on a quick scan through.

A Google search just brought up the original version from September, still FALSELY stating no RID broadcast with the standard batteries! (Page 92 under Section 7.11: FAR Remote ID Compliance Information)

On the download page, it states updated 12/10/2025, but the actual link is to the ORIGINAL manual, which still wrongly states no RID broadcast with Intelligent batteries!

Version 1.0 2025.09

You’ve somehow still linked to the old version. This is a screenshot of the new version.

Using both the Canada and UK DJI sites, I've just downloaded the manual from links labeled "2025-12-10." It does not have the sentence about RID not being activated with the standard battery.

However, the title page still shows "V1.0 2025-09.)

Just goes to show how old Google links are. I rarely use Google.
Here is the most recent link I have to the manual.

Yes, you are linking to the UK version which is EU specific, and has no reference to the Intelligent flight battery not broadcasting RID. I don't think it ever did.

However, I linked directly to the DJI Canadian version, by selecting Canada (English) as the country from DJI.com, and selected the Mini 5 Pro User Manual dated 2025-12-10 from there, and screen shot the 7.11 FAR RID page from that link, and the circled statement about Intelligent flight battery not broadcasting RID is still there.

Click on the link I supplied, which is copied from the URL of the Canadian English version, which matches the originally googled link. If it currently no longer contains that statement, DJI fixed it again early this morning, as I notified them again about it last night. However, I just verified that it is still as I described after changing browsers to prevent caching being involved.

Not sure why we are getting different results using the same URL from DJI Canada. What is the link you are using, and is it different than the one I supplied just now above?

I can open both the UK English and the Canadian English versions and the former has no reference to RID not being transmitted, while the latter still does.

Have you cleared your browser cache? If not it’s probably loading from their rather than downloading a new file from the web.

My link is from the DJI Mini 5 Pro download website on the page that offers Mini 5 Pro documents in many languages. I think this is the English language version of an international page. No Googleing was involved!
I’ve just used a vpn to change my apparent location and get the same link and same updated document. Same if I tell the webpage that I want a Canadian English manual.

My previous last download of the User Manual was the interim one in October where the line was the RID broadcasting statement was deleted. So, if anything, that one would have been in any browser cache.

The whole point of opening the same link in an entirely different browser (Chrome rather than Safari on my iPad) was to start with a clean cache of the URL, as I don't use Chrome on my iPad. The browser cache is obviously browser specific. I still got the same results, so it isn't a cache issue, as it is also showing the new updated 2025-12-10 download page, before clicking on the PDF link.

You are in the UK, and your version references all sorts of EU regulations that are not included in the Canadian English version. If anything, I suspect the browser cache issue might be from your end, not able to get the correct Canadian English version.

Oddly, the URL's appear identical for the UK version and the Canadian version, so it must be pulling something from our IP addresses.

Bit of a conundrum.

Googling should not be able to bring up an old web page when DJI has deliberately overwritten the link with an updated version.

Either way, I subsequently did exactly what you are doing, starting out on DJI Canada, and my results from the USA are still different than yours from the UK.
The UK version is different than the Canadian English version, as the latter doesn't contain all the EU stuff.

No, I’ve just cleared all data on the browser (duck, duck,go), changed my location via VPN to Canada. Typed in DJI.com. The website then asks if I want to enter my location and gives worldwide options. Choose Canada and end up in DJI’s web shop. Get to mini 5 pro and find a learn more link to take me to the mini 5 pro page within the shop. Checked that location is still Canada. Go to downloads, scroll to manuals choose the manual dated 2025-12-10 and click the .pdf download on the right. I get a 94 page manual, title page V1.0 2025.09 containing euro details and nothing about RID not being transmitted with the intelligent battery.

The mini 5 is transmitting RID with the standard battery. A friend owns one and we tested it with various apps, although I have deleted them and couldn't tell you which. Also you can see the transmission through its wifi. I would recommend testing it yourself. It's probably because it weighs more than 249g. So it makes sense.
Since my friend and I fly under part 107 neither of us care because we both want RID running anyhow.
