Updating Batteries?

I see talk here about people updating their battery, never had a prompt to do this so what, when and why do they need this?

Done three so far without any prompts about the Batts.

Uh.....I did the upgrade on my new mavic....it never asked about batteries. Should I worry?

Nothing to worry about, none of the recent firmware updates have included a battery update.

DJI GO will prompt you to update the batteries if needed. If you see no prompt, then there's nothing to install.
