Uploading to Facebook

Hi all. Problems when trying to get my footage out to facebook in 1080p.

I cannot for the life of me get 1080p on Facebook!! Driving me mad! All my footage is shot in 4k30 and taken into Davinci Resolve. I'm wanting to output at 1080p. I've tried so many render options but to no avail.

Help, settings, photos greatly appreciated.

Put it on YouTube, and link it from Facebook. Facebook's image and video compression is purely awful.

Agree that facebook is hopeless. Posting the Utube link of the footage has always been my choice.

I find people just scroll past a youtube link, thats why I was asking. But if I went down the YouTube road, what settings is preferable for that?

This is what I mean, im wanting the option to watch in 1080p. I'm shooting 4k30 exporting at 1080p but facebook will only let me view in 720.

Vimeo is not a bad alternative for posting in Facebook, although the free version is limited to 500 MB per week.

I upload the highest quality I've recorded. (up to 4K/60 if I have it). YouTube will downscale it to whatever the client's device supports or what quality they've selected. YouTube does have some recommended encoding settings if you are interested though.
