There are many other factors to consider . Firstly your editing suite will more than likely render your video at 1080p maximum. You may have to purchase a better editing software that will give you the option of 2.7k and upto 4K and some suites will let you render 8k video . Secondly , it depends on what you watch your videos on . If you want to see your 2.7k rendered video to its highest quality, then you will need your monitor or tv to be 2.7k compatible . That also applies to 4K too . If you have a 4K monitor or tv then your 2.7k will also playback at the quality you recorded in the first instance. So to put it more simply, you need a editing suite that allows you to render 2.7k and a monitor Or tv with 2.7k compatibility .What is the advantage of using 2.7k video. When I did the editing in Windows video maker it converted the result to 1080HD. Will the result be different than recording in 1080HD in the first place?
