Video pixelating

Flew today with Samsung Tab S tablet for the first time. First off, the 18" cable DJI provides just didn't work at all. Tried several others and some work and some don't. The bigger problem is that the ones that seem to work (at least they connect) sometimes cause the screen to become pixelated. In some cases 50% of the screen is blocked by multi-colored smearing. I have seen things similar to this in other video environments and it's usually the cable. However I had similar problems with more than 1 cable. The worst was the fast charge usb cable from my Samsung S7. Do you think it's a cable problem or something more sinister?

You would need to test more cables, but the fact that the DJI suppied and tested cable does not work tells me something may be amiss. Borrow another tablet and use the same cables to isolate the issue to tablet or cables. Trial and error is prescribed.
