Anyone know if this is general to DJI Fly, or only the Mavic 3?

This is what the DJI Fly release notes says:

- Vision Assist is available on DJI Mavic 3 series, allowing users to view live footage from aircraft's front, rear, left, and right directions during flight for enhanced safety.

Seems to indicate that it is specific to the Mavic 3 and not yet ready for deployment to other models such as Air 3.

These are new features added to the Mavic 3 series only, it includes a FW update for all Mavic 3's (aircraft FW), as well as an update to DJI Fly installed on phones/tablets and DJI RC'S (I can't confirm an update to DJI Fly on the newer RC2's but the original DJI RC and RC-PRO both got it).

Can confirm. Vision Assist is not available on the Air 2S or Mini 3 after the update.

However, the app did provide the frame guide when using both aircraft, yay!

...and not the new AR home point, RTH path, or aircraft "shadow", as i suspect these are overlaid on the live feed by the GPU in the drone, which would require a firmware update.

But that's a guess.
