Wont take off. Seems the top left prop tries to spin then it stops and I get this error

Tried different props all the same. Got it up the first day which was to just test fly it. It is literally brand new. Please help. Mavic Pro
Cheers Steve

If it's brand new you need to talk to the vendor you bought it from or DJI for a replacement because it clearly has a manufacturing defect.

I'm sorry sorry to read this. I know that most people that Don't have problems won't be posting, however, I sure do see alot of issues with all these Mavics..really all "flying cameras.". Because of this I count my lucky stars I only have a controller with a missing 5d button and no other problems (yet).
I did have to return my first MP inside the 14 day return period at Best Buy because the camera just stopped focusing after 12 days.. Lol. They made a big deal at Best Buy checking my flight log and stuff to see if I damaged it somehow.. They ended up making an exchange for me and I haven't looked back.
I pulled the Styrofoam out of the box the MP came in and shoved it down into a small backpack and I try to Never turn it upside down or nose down or nose up for any length of time at all.
I know the DJI bag is made to store it that way and every "drone bag" at Best Buy shows it stored every which way EXCEPT level. Lol. But something just tells me that's not healthy..
I carry that thing around like an egg on a spoon.

Got this same error on a 20 day old MA. I've had it several times. Many posts think it's firmware related. Not sure if I should go through the hassle of returnig it (online vendor) or wait for new firmware.

I don’t think it’s the same issue, the FW related issue only shows itself during flight; this is happening before takeoff off. Sounds more like a faulty motor - I’d contact DJI & discuss a warranty claim

Mine only showed up during flight. Sorry if my post intimated otherwise .

I am wondering if he installed the props correctly. What happens if you turn on the motors without props?

Any news?

Did you get some junk in a motor? Taking / landing off from a grass or dirt area can stir up gremlins.

I saw a long thread about this on the DJI Forum at Motor Current Error after May 2018 firmware update It apparently was being reported in May 2018. At that time the DJI administrator said that they were looking into such. I was also getting the same error on my Mavic Air since I got it in September. Found more recent comments about such, and again, DJI administrator said that they are looking into the problem. I have had no problem with the issue and have thought that perhaps I was using too much voltage. The error tended to show up when I had the controller in max power using both up and down sticks. I now have a Mavic 2 Zoom and have not seen this error. I am hoping it may be fixed with a firmware update.
