Warranty Exchange w/ DJI or BB

Since it's so new I would try the retailer first , which would be Best Buy (provided it's in their return window)
 
I know that in the UK your contract for want of a better term is with the retailer.
You should contact the retailer not DJI, if the retailer insists it has to go to DJI it is up to them to do so.
This question comes up now and then in a computor magazine I subscribe to and they always say if you miss out the retailer and go straight to the manufacturer you have technically broken the contract and that can lead to problems.

I had a problem with the IMU on my original MA1. It was within 30 days of purchase, so I took it back to Best Buy and the young, bored, girl behind the counter replaced it without a single question. This was in southern California.
I'm heading to BB later.

Just got off chat with DJI.

They have an agreement in place as @THE CYBORG pointed out
