Anyone else find it dang near impossible to set the height parameters on a waypoints point of interest? Every tap just adds more and more points instead of going to edit mode.....

Yes, you are not alone. This happens to me all the time. Especially when trying to change the altitude of a plotted POI. I end up making several more POI’s in the same place each time I try to select one. Then I end up deleting everything and starting over.
How did this get released this way? I sure hope they find a way to fix it.

Thanks - was beginning to think it was just me LOL! It's so frustrating, because yes - you end up having to delete the entire set-up and starting from scratch.
