Weird Hyperlapse incident

Maybe it wasn't an "incident" but I'm tired from working 14-16 hours a day the past few weeks. I just took a 2 sec interval, 5 sec hyper lapse. I have taken many but this is new to me. After about 35-47 photos in, the screen was frozen except for the flight data. I looked at the RC and all data read well, as could I still see the bird blinking. I let the hyper lapse finish and the screen went back to normal. Video was fine. Any idea why the feed froze? I moved the RC out of VLOS slowly and the bars started to drop. I pointed it back at the bird and the bars went up, so that was also working.

EDIT: I just tried it two more times. Both times it just froze on the first shot but continued to take the hyper lapse. I should add that all this was in free mode.

Is what I use and do lots of them and never seen that .I use an 7x9 iOS pad and everything is up to date .

I havn't a clue what would cause that but like I said I use the same setting but maybe longer times in some and never seen that.
Yet

I’ll see if anyone chimes in overnight. When I get home tomorrow I’ll try to do a screen record. Maybe I missed something but I doubt it. It sucks because I was trying to do a slow pan but it came out horrible. I haven’t been able to fly in almost two weeks because of crappy weather. Today UAV forecast was the best I’ve ever seen and then boom. This happened.

Ok. It gets a little weirder. I tried again after reflashing the RC and bird via Assistant 2. Same thing. First pic was snapped and then froze. Then I started a screen record on my iPhone and it worked! Kinda. Look at the camera setting info during the screen record. Weird. I didn’t finish the hyper lapse. I stopped and took this screenshot. When I stopped screen record and went back into normal mode, all settings were there. Went back into hyperlapse, clicked go, and boom. Frozen screen but pics were still being snapped.

Try a different device if you can and see if it continues .

I always just use Auto and never pay settings shown no mind but I would try a different device .
If she's sleeping then slip in there and get hers .

That’s good but odd.

That’s good but odd.

Nevermind. Too many variables to test right now. I had it sitting on my counter while waving my hand in front of the camera. All was good. I decided to upgrade the bird again. All was good. Upgraded the RC again. All was good. Then I just went for a quick flight out back. Screen was frozen. Came inside and put it on my counter again waving my hand in front of it. It seemed to work again. I’m at a loss. There’s a iOS update so I guess I’ll try that.

Still weird and I just did the IOS update. 2 has been working for me good and will try some tomorrow to see what happens .

Let me know how it goes.
I just got back on and did go this morning and liked to froze my fingers off
I did try and do a short one but stoped halfway through it but was doing as it was suppose to.
No freezing at all other than me . Other than you really trying another device I don't have a clue what is making yours do that .Seems if it wasn't the device then I would delete Go app and reinstall it and try .
Thats all I can think of without it ever happening to me .
Seems we must be the only ones doing these as no other members trying to chime in with any ideas huh .;)

Ok thanks. I’ll try to mess with it after work.

UAV forecast says it’s not good to fly and it was just raining. Go figure.
