What are the 4 connectors on the bottom of the Spark battery used for?

There are 4 connectors on the bottom of the Spark battery. Any idea what are they used for?

It is a three cell lipo battery. Each of the cells has a positive contact. The 4th contact is the common contact.

I think they maybe bringing out a power pack and you can just sit the spark onto it and it charges through those contacts

I hope that is not the plan although it makes sense.
I have several Harmony remotes that use that same system for charging and with all of them the point of contact ends up getting a bit scorched by the sudden current flow when the device is dropped on it. Soon you have intermittent contacts and have to wiggle the remote and constantly clean the contacts. Now that's with a tiny remote with a couple 100ma battery pack. I can just imagine what it would be like dropping a Spark onto one.
