What are the little things about the Mavic Pro that you love?

Some of these are small, others just great innovations
  • Push and lock props instead of spin on
  • Can fit easily in a backpack with controller and spare battery
  • Built like a tank. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.
  • Foldable legs
  • It wont crash by itself
  • No tuning required
  • Does not require a dedicated device to fly it
  • Foldable claws on the controller give it a smaller footprint
  • Telemetry that is usually pretty accurate
  • Best bang for the buck
I could go on and on.

All of the above...and it looks sweet

I love the way hiw it looks like a little human, makes it look cute.
I also love the way it flies under strong winds it’s a tiny little beast!

that it's quite easy to setup and fly quickly as long as the firmware isn't acting up. It's ridiculously fun to just fly it. Compared to my H520, it zips!

The alien technological design of the interior. The new Mavic’s don’t compare design wise to the original.

Not the "Pro" ... but what I love about the "Zoom" ... is the zoom. It's awesome. I'm not a photo-maven, so safely getting closer to my subject is way more important to me than some 5% improvement in some photo or video capability that I don't understand and wouldn't use. The zoom feature on the Zoom is AWESOME, and the photo and video quality is more than good enough for my skill level.

Sorry ... you're right ... missed the specific forum identifier. Read your crash story. I cried a real tear for your loss.

Thanks, Rusty. I genuinely appreciate your compassion. I loved everything about the Mavic 2 Zoom -- probably most especially the ZOOM function. Here's the zoom at work above the Ohio River exactly one week before I lost the drone:

I have the mavic pro 1st version, I love:
- How small it is to carry with controller and extra battery(s)
- The many features it packs in such a small device
- The stability of the gimbal and quality of the camera images
- The long flight time it gives me with 3 batteries, always enough for evreything I've done with it (including 2 holidays to Iceland)
- The real-time view of what the drone is seeing.
I dislike:
- The camera has a fixed aperture, not good for video
- Problematic support of the Android DJI Go app
- Fitting filters has proven to cause problems with the gimbal, occasionally
- The occasional problems it produces in flight
- I live in a huge no fly zone in The Netherlands and have to drive at least 45 min to fly legally

I love that the camera actually tilts up from horizontal (about 20 degrees) compared to the M1. I can now get the sky in sunsets/rises.
I love that you can change the memory card without unfolding the arms.
I love hyperlapse. Wow what a lot of fun.
I love the dynamic range of the MP2Pro. Gosh what wonderful images.
Is the MP2 faster than the MP1? It seems like it.
It seems to fly a lot longer making hyperlapse a reality.
I love that the gumball is more solid.
I love the "Standard" low noise props.
