What can I teach you about DJI flight logs?

Where each "log" is located, how to "get it", which log does what? and therefore which one is most useful for a particular situation. Plus what the others have mentioned. Looking forward to them.

Wow - what a wonderful concept. I see a "series" of videos. One for how to get at the info stored in an Android device. Another for locating the information in an iOS device, and a third for pulling data from the drone, assuming you didn't lose it. Then a separate video for each of the tools for analyzing the data showing what that tool has to offer, what data it expects how to view and interpret the data.

I lost a Mavic Air about 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for someone with this kind of expertise to help me understand what happened. Wouldn't it be wonderful if I could learn to do it for myself.

I really like how you post pics of what we actually see on our screens and highlight the proper solution to problems members have posted about. I've leaned a lot from your responses. I do better when shown rather than reading how to do it so a youtube video would be great. I do hope you cover all the models specifically if it's needed. Kind of a flight log for dummies. I don't even really know how to access them to show you if I had a problem. I'm somewhat computer stupid and find operating systems to be a bit difficult to navigate.

Terrific offer. I have an automatic brain shut down when I try to understand .dat files. I think the ability to save and retrieve visual flight maps would be very useful for showing a neighbor or authority what you didn’t do...fly over someone’s house, etc.

I'd like to know what happens to the flight log when DJI GO crashes, and if there's any way to restore the full log (nothing seems to be logged in DJI GO after a crash and relaunch of the app). Happened to me four times this weekend and it makes logging flight time a nuisance.

It's the DJI GO app that is doing the logging, so obviously there will be no logged data to restore if it's not running.

The software used to create the different graphs and your opinion on each ones pros/cons.

A simple list of all the different files types that contain useful flight/maintenance data, and where they are located, and what software is used to view the data for each file type. .DAT, .txt, .csv, .log, Android, I-thing, Phantom, Mavic. A list of the parameters that these files can provide, and a definition of the parameter names. This list may be scattered on the forums. Right now, when I have a flight abnormality, I don't have any organized why to approach solving my problem. This probably only comes with flight experience, but those with the most experience have the best advice to begin the search. The more we know, the more we can help ourselves.

3) once accessed how to read them
