Flew my mini yesterday and today for the first time outside. I have to calibrate the compass and the transmitter changed itself from 5.8ghz to 2.4ghz when I turned it on. Currently at Lapland,(Rovaneimi , Finland). I live in UK, I only flew my mini indoor to test it out with the prop guard on. I read a lots of flyaways and as a pilot of rc model helicopter I always fly vlos. My heart was pumping quite hard after 10m and could not barely see the ac because it was foggy at night time as well. Anyways, enjoy your mini as I am enjoying mine. Merry Christmas everyone...

Got a mini today. Watched many videos over the past few weeks so was pretty confident to start. Updated firmware and took it for a maiden flight. Worked flawlessly.

Nothing.

Trump is in West Palm Beach and is afraid of 0.5 pound drones so no flying till he leaves on Jan 5th. Never know when the mini will get a mind of it's own and fly the 20 miles miles to hit him on the head while he golfs.

Hi, did not use any nd filter as dont want to ruin any quality of the pictures. I just adjust ev+3 I think. It was cloudy always here so dont want any more darker lens.

Just an update, the mini could withstand temperature lower than the dji specs. I flew mine in -19c / -2.2f. I got low temperature warning and at one point I couldnt initialize the ac because the battery is too cold. I have to warm up the batteries by putting it in my fleece lined pocket. Pictures taken from Finland where the sun only shines for 2 1/2 hrs.
