What is the best small Android tablet to use with the Mavic Pro?

My wife and I use a Tab A 10.1 with our Mavic Pro. It works pretty well, except for Camera Gimbal Control. I have to tilt the gimbal from the RC because it simply won't work on the tablet. When I try to use it, the focus box immediately appears and never goes away. Therefore, the blue gimbal button never appears. Pretty much all the other functions work fine.

This is a problem because she generally controls the camera while I fly and maintain VLOS on the drone. She would really like to be able to control the gimbal tilt as well. We did try it on her iPhone 6S+ and the gimbal control worked perfectly on that. Honestly, much as I dislike Apple, I am planning to buy an iPad mini 4 just because of the better integration between the GO4 software and Apple.

Lenovo Tab 4 pro. Actually bought the banggood knock off version of it. Snapdragon 625 processor and 4 gigs of ram. Never have had an issue with it flying yet
