What We Know About the DJI Customs Issue

This is not unique to DJI, other products can trigger this. Like 3D printers (Customs hold BS)

A year ago, I had a bass guitar being shipped from Spain that triggered the DHS security apparatus.

They're pretty much holding up everything now. I ordered my Air 3s on February 20th and it's still "Waiting for Clearance". Received word from a source at Fedex that the more aggressive stance started on the 19th (sheesh if I had ordered 2 days earlier maybe I'd have it)...And the only thing they've let through are the packages containing accessories. Debating whether to hang in there (might take 90 days) or get a refund and go with something available here in the U.S.. I really want the 3s though.

I ended up stopping the shipment and they'll refund my money. Went to Walmart.Com and found it for $50 more but it will be here on Tuesday.

Yup, took 3 days to get it while I had waited well over a month with it being stuck in customs hell. DJI refunded my money and I even got calls from their customer service checking on how things went.
