When travelling to another country what are the most important things to keep in mind?

I have heard people were forced to pay tax at the airport for their drone, why and when is that? Also, do they get to know, check the registration (like here in the US with FAA), etc? Thank you!

You really need to find out the country’s drone laws before you leave as it might even be a crime to have a drone in some countries. Was just reading this today.

I’m sure you can get information from the US Embassy in that country, I’d be reluctant to try to figure it out from online sources unless it’s the government.
