When I go out to fly, I often come across scenes I can't shoot with the drone; either because I can't fly at that particular location, or I have already depleted all my batteries, or some subjects are not drone friendly - such as these birds. So I let the phone do the shooting. I know they are not shot with a drone and they probably don't belong in this section, but I felt like sharing them. May be we can have a section for showcasing those pictures you couldn't get with your drone and you had to resort to using your phone.

The Acacia tree and the papyrus dingy dominate this picture, but there is a bird in there somewhere

they are very nice pics, and there is nothing wrong with posting them on the forum, a lot of videos we see are a combination of drone and camera shots i know what you mean about having flown all your batteries and then spotting some fantastic place to fly ,and wishing you had just one more battery, its they way of things i guess

So true!
That has led to me owning 10 batteries... and so not being able to afford fuel to travel to many locations!

the most annoying bit for me ,is that although i make a mental note of the location at the time ,i can never flippin remember it when i go out again, and sometimes i have flown at a location ,only to move a few hundred yards away, and low and behold there is the very place i was looking for to begin with
