The DJI Air 2S has an intelligent follow-me feature called Active Track 4.0. This follow-me mode is part of DJI's FocusTrack mode and allows the drone to follow moving subjects such as vehicles, people, or pets.
You use your finger to highlight the subject you want the drone to follow. If you want it to follow you just aim the drone at yourself, and drag a box over yourself with the touchscreen. The tracking should engage from there.
I had that same problem yesterday. I tried to draw a box around myself but it wouldn't do that. I was in a hurry and forgot to click the button on the side to bring up the Master shots options. I had just though I could do the box thing....never did get that to work. Using the RC Pro controller.
Problem is, the imaging SOC does both the object tracking and video processing. At more than 30fps, the video processing (compression to h.264 is compute-intensive, h.265 even more so) consumes enough CPU cycles there's not enough left to run the object tracking.
A more expensive (much) design an video SOC could be used, but trust me, you wouldn't be willing to pay for it just to get object tracking at 60fps. For the vast majority of situations 30fps is plenty.
If you must have Active Track 4K/60, get a version of the Mavic 3. Like I said, its gonna cost ya
