They said I could return it for up to 90 days
So I got it and will return it when the Platinum ships
I wanted one for a trip the last week of this month and I don't think the MPP will be shipping by then

My two cents.
Abusing a return policy and bragging about it online is unethical and borders on fraud as you have publically advertised you are merely abusing the system.

You, my friend, are essentially a unlawful braggart who has incorrectly surmised that such action is worthy of praise and adulation.

I have no use for such antics and consider such suggestions unworthy of consideration. Posters promoting theft of service should be banned from this forum.

Just my opinion, but I can look in the mirror and not see a smirking self promoter with an absence of ethics or conscience.

And a final note, someone involved in IT support should know better than to post and brag about such actions. There is no such thing as an anonymous post. A posting that suggest questionable activities can be viewed by employers as cause for review. This is an honest admonition to be [cautious when you post such activities. When I worked at Sears in the early 2000s, people did this so often with video cameras that we used to call it our "wedding rental program". I can tell you that as an associate, we didn't care. I'm sure upper management didn't/wouldn't approve of the practice.

I have returned two Mavics. One in August because I decided it was a bad financial decision. By September I said to hell with it and bought another one and then 2 days later they announced the Platinum so Mavic #2 went back and I pre-ordered the MPP. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about enjoying it for the duration of the return period before taking it back.
