WIFI! Good or Evil

Having recently played about with the WIFI on the Mavic, I'm interested how many others are using this feature rather than the remote?

Basically I wanted a quick and easy way to get the bird to chase me..... Bird = Mavic, not missus [emoji6]

My issue is the further the bird gets away the delay to respond gets higher and in turn more disconcerting.

Any one else have similar experiences??

Any reason not to use ActiveTrack or Follow-Me mode?

Yeah tried but a little hit or miss, trying to discover the best practice.

Never touched it. I like tactile feel vs. virtual. Plus the range issue is a turnoff in wifi mode.

Exactly my thoughts originally, then the simplicity of a quick shot using 'Track me' while out on bike drew me in.

However doesn't seem very stable compared to the RC option.
