Would FCC mode boost range on Googles RE and Mavic 2?

Well I have tried on different firmware and bird pro and zoom none of them gave improvements.
I did get better results using smart controller.

should I understand that if you used the NLD fcc mode patch and the signal boost then you had less reach than when you used a smart controller?

More proof the more recent build dates of the Regular/Standard Mavic 2 Controller are the main cause of the range issue when using the RE Goggles. I rest my case!

No people (inc me)have the re distance issue with both the standard controller and the smart controller

I did the fcc on NLD and my goggles white ones now work perfectly on the zoom

Did you get the improved distance in FCC mode in 5.8 ?
As far as I understand the FCC 2.4 does not improve the distance with CE model,as hardware is not the same.
And DJI white goggles only do 2.4

I have some updated information on this issue. I recently amplified my remote controller and the gain in distance is quite significant. The goggles also see the same improvement in range so I have to conclude that the goggles connect wirelessly to the remote and not the drone as DJI states. Therefore an increase in power to the remote (such as FCC mode) will also increase the range of the goggles.
